ENTERTAINMENTS

PALACE. NEW PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT. Those who lake delight in notion, mingled with colour and good acting, will find all they desire in “The Bad Man,” a First National attraction, which is to be shown at the Palace Theatre to-night. “Tho Bad Man” is not merelv a photoplay; it tells a story more complete and more thrilling than the usual motion picture. Perhaps the reason for this is that it is a literal translation of tho stage piny. It was originally conoeived in his form and those who have viewed the stage performance will note that it has not .been changed in tile film version. "Ring Tail Romance,” a good animal comedy, the Topical budget, and a travelogue film are also included in the programme.

KOSY. Herbert Rawlinson, as ho appears in "His Mystery Girl,” is a young man who takes himself very seriously, so much so that he really has no time whatever for tho consideration of the fair sex. happens, however, that he is eventually smitten by u very charming girl who crosses his path and he says in effect “that’s the girl for me.” Before he wins her he has to endure many unusual experiences, but with real fortitude ho keeps on the quest and, of course, scores a Win in the end. The International News, “Miss Hollywood,” a “Baby Peggy” comedy, and “The Phantom Fortune!’ are all enjoyable aids in spending a pleasant couple of hours at the Kosy.
