MANAWATU HUNT.

SUCCESSFUL OUTING. Members of the Manawatu Hunt met yesterday at Waituna when enjoyable hunting was experienced. Tho throw-off took place at 11.30 a.m. and in the plantation behind Mr Gordon Perry’s homestead throe hares were raised. The courso lay across some paddocks but eventually tho hares were lost in a gorge. Unfortunately, there were many hares about and it was found impossible to keep the hounds on tho scent. After about two hours’ sport, luncheon was partaken of picnic fashion in a pleasant plantation. Mr anti Airs Perry were thanked for the pleasant day’s sport they had made possible.
