SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGES CLAIMED. Received July 23, 8.5 a.m. , MELBOURNE, July 22. The Hon. Afr Tratten, Minister of Customs, has issued a writ claiming damages, for alleged libel, from the Labour daily newspaper in Sydney.— Press Association.
