THROWS lIIM CLEAR OF ENGINE. ADELAIDE, July 8. Seeing a shunting engine approach a small boy, Lindsay Manton. who was play ing- on the railway near the station, \Y. Croft, a shunter, leaped in front of the engine, caught up the child and threw him clear. lie saved himself by jumping on the cowcatcher of the engine.
