SHEEP INDUSTRY.
INCREASE IN WAGES. BRISBANE, July 21. At ilie hearing of the sheep industry case before the Arbitration Court, Chief Justice McCauley made it clear that wages must fluctuate according to die prosperity or otherwise of the industry. The court raised tlio wages of adult employees on sheep stations by 10s weekly and others accordingly. Shearers receive 5s per hundred extra The court refused increases in the cattle industry wages. —Press Association.
