It has been learned here that play fqv the Davis Cup will continue to be an annual event, according to the decision of a meeting of contending nations in London The result of the deliberations will be referred to 'he vat ions associations Interested and the changes will be adopted should they secure the approval of two-thirds of the nations.

Among the changes in the regulations approv’d cere those leinstating Austria as a cup coalesting nation, adding Ireland ‘o Hie list under the title of “Unbed Ireland, anti authorising Britain to make forma! application for the inclusion of Jamaica as a separate contestant.—A. and N.Z. cable.
