ON AN ENORMOUS SCALE. LONDON, July 20. The Pageant of Kmpire, which was duo to open at Wembley to-morrow, was postponed till Friday, when Prince Arthur of Connaught, members of Cabinet and representatives of the Dominions and India will attend. The postponement is duo to the* council not obtaining possession of the stadium in tune. The enormous seal!) of ihe production can be realised from the fact that £IOO,OOO is being spent on it. There art* 15,000 performers and it will take three nights to produce tlie pageant in its entirety. —Reuter.
