Mr Nash outlined a scheme for a block canvass of the town for donations to.the prizo fund for the Royal Show. I hoy wanted funds for tho Royal Show and it tho town was systematically canvassed the results should bo quite satisfactory. -Mr Nash said he would have plenty of time at his disposal for the purpose of canvassing Wellington but they must have an efficient town canvass in Palmerston North. Mr Perrett said tho association had not been supported by tho public as it should have been and the amount received m donations from the public was less as a rule than the donation* given by the members of the association. It was the people's show and they should give generously. A number of volunteers were enrolled to canvass the town and also Wellington. NEW MEMBERS.

It was most gratifying to know that so many new members had been secured. That was what they wanted to see and there was no reason why they should not havo a membership of 3000.
