SHOW VISITORS.
SHOULD BE ENTERTAINED.
"Something should be done for tho factory managers and other visitors to the Winter Show by taking them round the district in cars. The journeys need not be lengthy, but something of the kind should be arranged," remarked Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., at to-day's meeting of the general committee of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association. "We hear that visitors to the other shows receive considerable attention from the A. and I'. authorities, who motor them round their districts. AYe must do all we oan to popularise our shows. Let us make no mistake, the Manawatu Association has gone back; we have not the backing we ought to possess and we must show the public that we are a committee which exists for the benefit of the district and its shows."
Several offers of cars were received from members, and it was decided that visitors be taken round the town and its environs during the coining show.
