WORLD TOUR BY MOTOR.

AMERICAN AND HIS SISTER. CALCUTTA, May 27. An American army captain and his sister who are engaged in a motor-car tour of the world, travelling in separate cars, have arrived at Bombay, after travelling through 40 countries. The captain explained that they set off in one car, but parted company owing to their disability to agree as to who should be boss. Three ladies who were travelling with them were compelled to drop out owing to a breach of the rules that they should not get married before the completion of their trip. The captain's sister, who has heen out of school only a few months, says she has had dozens of proposals on the tour.
