Owing to the dropping of a line in the report of the Kia Toa-Old Boys' Rugby matcn which appeared in our issue of yesterday, it was made to appear that Mr A. \V. Thompson had controlled the game. The sentence should have read: Mr P. 0. Skoglund, who, in tho absence of Mr A. W. Thompson, controlled the game, made a highly satisfactory first appearance in the senior grade matches. OROUA SUB-UNION. In the Oroua Sub-Union competitions Waituna seniors defeated Apiti at Waituna on Saturday by eight points to six. For Waituna, Hartley und Roy Shannon scored tries, C. Palmer converting one. Spence kicked two penalty goals for Apiti. Rarigiwahia defeated Kimbolton by 12 points to six. For the winners tries were scored by Carpenter (2) and R. Deroles, tho lqtter also adding a goal from a mark. For the losers Goodlin kicked a penalty and 1). McXae a goal from a mark. _ In the junior' series, Waituna defeated Kiwitea by 32 points to six. Apiti defeated Rangiwahia by 11 points to six. A team of school boys from the Rangiwahia district journeyed to Apiti and defeated their opponents by 12 points to six.
