Doug Creighton will be well in the limelight among the light-weights; his work in the gymft&siUm lias shown that u spell has done him good. Rdy Potbufy will Contest the featherweights; this Will be his first appearance in the ring since injuring his hand while boxing it Wanganui nearly twelve months ago. He will have a tough proposition in Allan Flood, who, ill the writer's opinion, is one of the most promising boys seen out for some time.

Fred Nesbit faces the bantams; this boy is as game as they lnake them, and will always fight to a finish. W. Walden is doing road work nicely and should be a fit man on the night. H. De Cleene is uncertain of his weight until the night of the contests, but will be a certain contestant for either the light or welter class. Whatever he engages in, his opponent will know he is in a fight.

A special match is being arranged between E. Downes and J. Strange, two good- boys. Much has been said as to who is the best, so their coming contest will decide.

After the Maiiawatu championships have been decided, some of the members of the King Street gymnasium will journey to Eltham to meet Tata* naki boxers.
