ELECTRIC LIGHT.
FINAL INSPECTION OF PLANT.
POWER AVAILABLE SOON.
The final inspection of the elctrical installation at Terraco End was being- made to-day by the consulting electrical engineer, Mr F. Black, and Mr Miller, of the Public Works Department. If the result of the inspection is satsifactory, it is expected that electric light will be available at the week-end, and private users in the areas which have been reticulated should have their supply by Tuesday next. A “Standaixi” reporter was informed today by the Town Clerk, Mr J. R. Ilardie, that Mr Black, in reply to a question as to when the power would be available, had told him that lie would make a statement subsequent to the inspection.
