MOTOR BUS ACCIDENT.
PETTY OFFICER KILLED. Received January 31, 10.5 a.m. COLOMBO, Jan. .30. A tragedy marred the fleet festivities at Trincomalee. A motor bus carrying two officers and 30 men to Kandy capsized a mile from Dambull.i. Petty officer Wood was killed and seven persons were slightly injured. The body was conveyed to Kandy for interment. All the injured were attended to at the Dambulla. hospital.-—A. and N.Z. cable.
