In the Magistrate’s Court to-day, before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., judgment lor plaintiff by default was given m the following additional civil cases: —F. CTossley (Air Abraham) v. J. C. Dench £4 4s. costs £1 7s 6d; W. G. Broad (Mr Cooper) v. 1. Ruckley £3 10s lOd, costs £1 4s 6d; Manawatu Taxis, Ltd. (Mr Grant) v. R. Major £l, costa 8s; \V. 11. Will (Air Gram) v. H, Tweeddale 10s 6d, costs 10s; 11. L. Young, Ltd. (Air Grant) v. W. Noble £2 Os 3d, costs £1 3s 6d; Lewis (Palmerston North), Ltd. (Mr Grant) v. C. Harper £2 12s, costs £1 4s 6d; Barriao Bros., Ltd. (Air Cooper) v. J. Raupi £2, costs £l Is 6d. CLAIM FOR GRAZING. A defended action was hoard in which Herbert. Joseph Ernest, and Perniey Wingate, of Pohangina, larmers, proceeded against John Gordon Cliff AlcCulloch, formerly of Pohangina, now of Whakatane, fanner, claiming £sl 12s, in respect to the cost of grazing two horses allegedly left by defendant on a farm pm-chased from him by plaintiffs. Air Meatyard appeared for plaintiffs, and Air Cooper for defendant. After hearing evidence as to an agreement between the purties affecting the grazing of the horses, llis Worship non-suited plaintiffs and allowed £lO 15s costs against them. JUDGAIENT SUMMONSES. N. Giles was ordered to pay forthwith to J. Nathan and Co., Ltd. (Air Grant), £lB 17s 10d, lit default 21 days’ imprisonment. A. W. H. Gripp was ordered to pay iorthwith to Dalgety and Co., Ltd. (Air Cooper), £4l 6s 3d, in default 28 days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as defendant paid off the debt at the rate of £1 per week from February 5. The National Oil Co., Ltd. (AXr Cooke), proceeded against W. Doylo seeking an order for payment of £4 17s. Debtor, on being examined, gavo proof' of having insufficient means, and an order was refused. Richard Major was ordered to pay forthwith to P. T. Griffen £l2 19s 6d, in default 14 days’ imprisonment. C. Dench was ordered to pay forthwith to Cameron Bros. (Mr Cooper) £ls 7s. in default 14 days’ imprisonment. C. Fox was ordered to pay to B. K. Hammond (Mr Cooper) £29 14s, in default 21 days’ imprisonment. James- W. Muir was ordered to pay D. L. N. Palmer (Mr Aieatyard) £9 12s, in default seven days’ imprisonment. Allan Trevelyan was ordered to pay to the Para Rubber Co., Ltd. (Mr Meatyard), £35 7s 6d, in default 28 days’ imprisonment.
