Received January 29, l.lu p.m. LON'DON, Jan. 28, The Prince of Wales was the chief guest at the Anzac luncheon in connection with the Australia Day celebrations. Jn a speech he emphasised the responsibilities of the citizens ox Australia and New Zealand, who stood in the southern ocean as free citauels of British ideals of Empire. The Prince paid a tribute to Mr. Mussey’s great record of service for New Zealand and the Empire. His Royal Highness added that he could not see too much of the Empire and hoped this yeur to see the fulfilment of the task of seeing all the Dominions for himself when lie sailed for South Africa on May Ist. He was looking forward to this visit with much interest. —Reuter.
