ANTI-JAPANESE LAWS.
? PROTEST ENTERED.
Received December 27, 1.45 p.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 26. Japan through the Ambassador in Washington, has formally protested against tho anti-Japanese laws of California and other Piicifio Coast states, following on tho Supreme Court decision. Japan does not question tho legality of that decision, but complains of tho whole unfriendly situation arising against her former subjects resident in America. —A. and N.Z, cable.
