VALUELESS CHEQUE.
RACEHORSE TRAINER IN TROUBLE.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 4.. The well knowm racehorse trainer, Percy Robert Edwards, was arrested at Waikanae vesterday on a charge of issuing a valueless cheque for £6. At the Court to-day counsel said that accused was a man ot previous good character and his employers were anxious to retain his services. Accused pleaded guilty and was admitted to probation for 12 months, restitution of the money to be made.
