VOCAL RECITAL.

’Wie public arc promised a musical treat at the Opera House on Thursday next, when Mr W. Watters, JUA.B., will give a vocal recital, assisted by Madame Winnie Fraser, soprano, Mr Swallow, flautist, and Mr H. E. Gunter at the piano. Mr Watters is_ recognised as New Zealand’s leading baritone, and both he and Madame Eraser have won enviable reputations, their services being in constant demand by all musical societies throughout the Dominion. Mr Swallow and Mr Gunter are both' well-known to Palmerston North audiences, and they can be depended on for their part in the programme. The lx)x plan opens at Oates’s music swarehouse on Monday.
