STOCK MARKET. Dalgoty and Co„ Ltd., Palmerston North, report on their Ashhurst sale on the 30th inst.'There was only a small entry ol sheep, but a very good yarding of dairy stock and pigs, for which there was good competition. With the exception of one or two small lots of yearlings practically everything changed hands tinder the hammer. Quotations: Fat owes 18s, two and four-tooth wethers 19s Bd, wether hoggets 17s Id, small yearling Jersey cross heifers £2 13s, yearling S.II. heifers 31s, yearling steers 30s 6d, two-year steers 395, store cows 235, 27.-, forward cows £2 4s, £2 ss, springing heifers £5 15s, £6 ss, £6 10s, £8 10s to £l2, springing cows £5 5s to £4 10s, Jersey second culvers £9, two-year Jersey hells £6 15s; pigs, weaners 15s, 17s to 24s 6d, stores 22s 6d to 295.
