ARRANGEMENTS FOR CONTEST. NEW YORK, Aug. 30. Patterson and Tilden will meet in die first match for tho Davis Cup on Friday. Anderson and Johnson follow, and Patterson and Johnson will play on Monday, .'dl members of the Davis Cap teams, except Richards, were on the courts to-day. Anderson’s game was closely watched. He appears to be fully recovered, and played several sets of swift tennis, declaring that he felt tip-top.—A. and N.Z, cable.
