CRIME ON EAST COAST.
(Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, July 8. Thomas Richard Porter, secretary of tho Waterside Workers’ Union at Tokomafn Bay, who was charged with the theft of £147, the funds of tho union, pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence to tho Auckland Supreme Court, A Maori youth named Hnnita Poi pleaded guilty to breaking and entering a dwelling at Tokomaru Bay and was also committed to Auckland.
