MANAWATU RACING CLUB.
Nominations for the positions of ofiiee-bearers of the Manawatn Racing Chib closed to-day. The following have been received: President, Mr 1C S. Mcßae; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Goring Johnston and J. 11. P. Strang; hon. treasurer, Mr C. Louissou; committee, Messrs H. S. Abraham, 1.. 11. Collinson. H. R. Cooper and S. R. Lancaster. As the number of nominations is exactly the same as the vacancies, there will be no ballot.
