STOCK MARKET. Levin’s Report,—At Bulls sale on Monday a small yarding met with a dull sale. Wo quote:--Good steers £3 6s, aged cows (August culvers) £3, £6, guaranteed cows close to profit £8 10s, Jersey cross 18-months empty heifers £6. At Feilding on Friday we had a small entry of sheep and a medium entry of cattle. Fat, lambs were easier than at last week’s sale, while fat owes showed a decided increase. Fat wethers were on a par with late sales. Stores soid well at late rates, though prices for store, wethers were easier. Dairy cattle, of which there was a heavy yarding, met with a dull sale, and prices show a decrease in. all classes on recent quotations. There was a good yarding of far cattle of good quality, which changed hands at prices in favour of purchasers. Store cattle were dull of sale. We quote: Good fat lambs (Romney) 20s 6d. medium do. 18s 7d, light fat iwo-tooths 20s, small two and four-tooth store wethers 19s, good store Jambs 14s 2d, aged dairy cows (guaranteed sound) £3, sound cows in milk £9 ss, £5 15s, two-year Jersey-cross heifers r.w.b. £6, three-year fat maiden Hereford heifers (good) £2 15s, £3 ss, £3 7s 6cl, fat coloured cows £2 7s Gd, £2 10s, four-year S.H. forward bullocks £5 ]ss, fat and forward empty cows £2, 30s, 395, good Jersey weaner heifers £4 6-.
