RONCOTEA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) A company of young men and women belonging to the local Methodist Bible ! (4a.-i.ses journeyed to I’eliding on Saturday | last at‘the invitation of the Bible class i there. During the afternoon a football ! match was played oil' by teams front Cuba 1 street: (Palmerston North) and 1* eliding. I After the match tea was served to the Monitors in the Sunday school. ’1 he evening 1 was spent in playing various games, tut- ' prompt it speaking, songs, dialogues, etc., The outing was much enjoyed and the Rongotea voting folk extended a pressing i imitation to their Feilding friends to pay j I them a return visit at an early date. _ The local gymnasium classes still main-1 1 lain their popularity. Mr Reg. W ilhaius, j 1 the instructor, has about 30 pupils, and it, i Is surprising to see the progress many ot, i them have made in a few weeks. it is 1 I many years since Rongotea was so well provided with suitable evening recreation tor its young men. Mr Williams deserves special praise, as his services are gt'cn free of charge.
