GOOD PRICKS REALISED

The third Wanganui wool sale held this evening, when 7500 bales were offered. There was a good attendance of buyers, representing Bradford, America, the Continent and Japan. Bidding was keen, and distinctly improved prices ruled. Medium crossbred averaged ircm hi to 2d higher, inferior Id to Ud, coarse crossbred ;jd to Id, inferior Id to 3d. and low crossbred a penny to Ifd. Lambs’ wool (Southdown) showed an increase of 2ld, and medium 2d. The range was: Southdown to IGd; medium crossbred, 44/46’s, average 7d ro SJd; inferior, 5d ro Gp.t; coarse crossbred, 40/44’, average Gd to 71d; inferior, 4d to 5G.1; low conditioned, 36/40V, average 5d to G-^d; inferior 3d to 4jd; lambs, Southdown, lid to 12d; litre, 8d to 9fd; medium. 8d to 3jd; seedy, 2d to sd; bellies and pieces, good to super, 3d to sd; low to medium, lid to 3^d; erulchings, medium, lid to 2id ] locks, ltd to 2UU
