ALLEGED FALSE PRETENCES.
A man named Robert James Roberts was arrested on the Palmerston North railway station yesterday afternoon on several charges involving alleged false pretences. Accused was taken to Wellington by the New Plymouth mail train at 3.30 p.m. bv Constable Healy, of Wellington, who had effected the arrest.
