ARREST OF TWO CRIMINALS.

The most spectacular man hunt for some years occurred when all traffic was diverted from Twentieth Street and Fifth Avenue, where the police surrounded a textile warehouse. The detectives crossed the roofs into the lourth storey, finally arrested four of the city’s leading criminals, two of whom slid down greased elevator pillars. Loot worth £4OOO was recovered outside.

Tito special police in Chicago have been instructed to shoot suspicious persons who fail to comply promptly with orders.
