INCREASED POSTAGE.
CANADIAN-AUSTRALIAN RATES. AMERICA DECLINES. VANCOUVER. Dec. 13. Canada has increased the postage rale to 2d from ljd, on letters from the Dominion to Britain, in conformity with the new British rate to Canada The same increase applies to letters or Australia and New Zealand, but the rate is doubled on loiters to China and Japan, which formerly were five cents. There is no increase on postage from the "United States to Britain, which is si ill five cents.
