SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.
Under the auspices ' of the Loyal Manawatn Lodge, M.U.. 1.0.0. P., a most enjoyable dance was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Cuba street,' last evening. Mr T. Rogers acted as M.C. A euchre party*.and dance wevo held .at the Empire Hal! last evening, a large attendance being ■instrumental in swelling the funds for a stall to be run by the St -Vincent de Paid Society at the sale of work"in connection with St. Patrick's Church." Miss Hurley and Mr Le Frantz were the winners of euchre prizes in their respective sections. A jazz orchestra supplied suitable music and Messrs C. J. Houston and C. Sogers officiated ; as'/Hls-.C. ";
