POLICE COURT.
REMANDS GRANTED THIS MORNING. This morning's sitting of the Police Court was presided over by Messrs AY. Park,and W. W. Wilsher, J.'sP A first offender against tho laws ot sobriety, who had been arrested with threepence in his possession, was fined ss, m default 24 hours' incarceration. Louis Harold Rowo, alias James Nash, for whom Mr Ongley appeared, was remanded until, to-morrow morning to answer a chargo of having stolen, a rug valued at £3 10s, the property of D. Bohnett.
