SYDNEY, April 6. Mr Dooley has announced that the 25th inst. will bo obacrved">as a sacred day and not ais a public holiday. He sta.ted that the West Australian premier had intimated that h'e wa3 doing likowise. Coal miners throughout tho Commonwealth havo decided to tuko a holiday on May Day.—Press Association.
