Mrs Lionel Abraham presided over tiro annual meeting of associate members of the Mansnvatu Golf Club yesterday. It was resolved drat. the. opening match of the ■ season• bo played oh the first Tuesday in May-. A number of trophies for this event were offered. Tho retiring secretary, Mrs 11. G- Col-' lirtson, was. accorded a vote, of thank? for, her valuable services. • A The officers ejected for -the ensuing year were; —Captain.’;Mj:s 'Louis' Seifert; secretary. Miss Blackntoro-; committee, Aleadamc.i I, A. Abraham, J. P. Lines, F. Warburlen, Misses IS. Coombs and M, Watson. New,, members were elected as follows: —Aliases- Heaton, ,P. Abraham. I)., Pegden, Poytori’ K. .Devine, Bowen.'; and Dr. Helen Eakewoll. Mrs J- C. Kissling was elected an honorary member. A motion o? condolence Was passed to Airs Slack,-a‘former member of the club, in her recent bereavement.
