Sir George Fuller. Leader of the Nationalist Party, states that Mr Beeby's acceptance of a'judgeship with the, parties practically even amounts to a desertion from the ranks of those fighting extremism and carries its own condemnation. The Progressive Party, of which Mr Bceby was Deputy-Leader, has carried a resolution regretting his loss, but congratulating him on his appointment.—(Press Association.)
