VERRY-KERSLA KE.

A wedding of considerable local interest was solemnised yesterday at St. Paul's Methodist Church by the Rev. G, S. Cook, the contracting parties beine; Miss Ella Florence Kcrslakc, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs T. T. Kcrslakc, of Grey street, and Mr Frank Wakefield Verry, youngest son of tho Into Mr T. Verry and Mrs Verry, ol Ward street.- The bride, who was giv< n away by her father, was becomingly attired ill biscuit coloured crepe dc chone gown, dainlly trimmed with lace and embroidered in pale shades of si'le. she also wearing a hat of black lnce trimmed in shades io match the dress. She was accompanied by her sister, Miss Ruby Kcrslakc. as bridesmaid, the latter wearing flame coloured crepe de che ue with hat to match. The best man wan Mr Reginald Donald, both bridegroom and best man being returned soldiers. A number of guests were subsequently entertained at the residence of the bride's parents. Mr and Mrs Verry later loft by motor car fop-the honeymoon, the bride's travelling dress beipg ariavy costume with small saxo blue liar.

The presents were numerous and hand some, and included several cheques. Amongst (lie .presents was a set of cutlery from the teachers of St. Paul's Methodist Sunday School, r. jardineire and jug from St. P.iul's choir, a cake dish from St, Paul's Bible Class, and a silver vase from the St.»John Ambulance Nursing Division.
