ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
(Peh Phebs Association) AUCKLAND. Jan. 6. Thomas Corcoran, a single mar. aged 42 years, cut his throat at Onehunga this afternoon, and died from his injury. He returned from the front about two years ago, and had suffered from shell shock and pneumonia. TAUMARUNUI, Jan. 8. A single man named Bentizen was found dead at Owhango last night beneath an overhead road bridge j.bout half a mile south if the station. The decensed's head was nourly blown off, it is thought by o detonator. Bentucn was aged 55 and a native of Aw-tralia. It is stated ho had been strange in his manner lately.
