MATTHEWS AT CONSTANTINOPLE

Captain Matthews, pilot of the Sopwith aeroplane in the flight to Australia, arrive d at Constantinople from Belgrade on December 23. He goes to Bagdad when the weather permits. Received January 8, 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 7. A delayed telegram announces that Captain Matthews was leaving Constantinopl on January 2 for Aleppo as he had secured a, full supply of petrol at Constantinople. POULET RESUMES IN OCTOBER. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. ALLAHABAD, Jan. 6. M. Poulet has departed for Marseilles. He intends to return in October and resume his flight to Australia.
