At ti meeting; of the Canterbury Rugby Union, the recommendations ol the Australasian Conference Were considered. It was decided to support the establishment of an International Board of Control, and to agree to the appointment of Mr W. W. Hill, of Sydney, as central secretary.
The alterations to the laws of the frame were not approved, this course being taken in order that the matter might he held in abeyance pending the formation of the International Board of Control.
It was decided to urge the New Zealand Union to invite South Africa to send a team to tour the Dominion this year.
