/§. pretty wedding took place in St. Paul's Ch»roh, Palmerston North, on Wed- . ncijday morning, when Miss Alice Stubbs. thiind daughter of the late Mr John Stubbs "and of Mrs Stubbs, of Palmerston North, waft married to Lieut. F. W. Bradshaw, only son' of Mrs and Mrs Bradshaw, of Paßanuv Chr7«tchurch. The, Rev. Gatmiiii officiated a'»d-Mi» Judkms presided ab (the organ. 1> Church was decorated fori the occasion. The bride, who was givim away by KV *> r <f lcr £. M / Stubbs, ■ wore a da.int/ frock «*.*&£ < georgette over satin, with' touches of pink embroidery and white heads; & jjg* S^° S =t pe S i e weri> Miss Laura Stubbs, sister + _ Q t bride, and Miss Dolly Bradshaw, sis. N tho■ bridegroom. , The former wore » chaunpagno crepe-de-chene dross embroiu ered with blue beads, and a large picture hat to match, and the latter a pale pink dress, also trimmed with blue, and a black picture hat Both carried sheaths of roses and sweet peas. Captain Carrington, of Ghristchurch, acted as best man, and Mr Horace Stubbs (brother of the bride) as groomsman. , A reception attended • by relatives and a few intimate friends was afterwards held at tho White House. 1 The bride and bridegroom's respective mother each wore a pretty gown of black crepe-de-cheno, with a black hat and carried a bouquet of heliotrope and white flowers. Later, Mr and Mrs Bradshaw left by motor car for tho North, where tho honeymoon is to be spent. The bride's travelling dress was an Easterhazj costume with.fancy leghorn hat trimmed, with black and Easterhazy ribbon.
