Received January 3, 9.15 a.m. i LONDON, Jan. 1. Sir Hamar Greenwood, interviewed, said that Britain and the Empire had never entered a New Year with brighter prospects of prosperity. Reports from consuls and riiplomatic officers in every part of the world show that production here is far bohind what other countries require from us. No country has a better commercial outlook and if we can avoid strikes we should become more prosperous than ever. 1920 should be the first of a series of great years.
