The War Office announces that the High Commissioner at Constantinople drew tin* attention of the Turkish _ authorities to damage to certain cejnoterios on Gallipoli. The Ottoman Government _ replied that it was taking disciplinary action against the offending Turkish soldiers. In order to prevent further acts of desecration, and to facilitate the work of the Graves Registration units-, the British commander in the Black Sea region is Sending Serbian guards to Gallipoli.
