THE TRAMWAYS DISPUTE.
Per Press Association. ' WELLINGTON, Dec. 30. It is understood a further conference to consider the tramway dispute will be held • a rly in the New Year, immediately the holidays are over. Messrs C. Hobbs and J. Hutcheson, the national president and the national secretary of the Tramways Federation, arc to consult with Mr J. P. Luke, the Mayor of Wellington, and Mr W. Cable, acting general manager, Wellington, to see whether it is possible to draft a national agreement. If such an agreement, is drafted the employees will bo invited to attend a further conference.
