FLOODS IN FRANCE.

PARIS, Deo. 26. There have been serious floods in the east and south-east departments owing to the overflowing of the rivers Newithe and Moselle. Large factories have closed, and several deaths are Teportod at Nancy. The railways between Nancy and Metz aro interrupted and the flooding of old trench systems at Bois le Pretro increases the danger, Seven hundred silk and textile factories at Vosges are under water. The- overflowing of the Saono and Rhone also caused considerable damage.
