LEVEL CROSSING FATALITY
YOUTH KILLED AT MAKGAMAIRE. Per Press Association. PAHIATUA, Dec. 22. A railway crossing fatality occurred at Mangamaire, a few miles soutfi ol Pahiatua, to-day, when tho express from Wellington crashed into a cart, which was driven by Allen Amos Roil (aged 18). son of a well known local farmer. Roil, who was gravely injured, was brought to Pahiatua, but died en route. The norse was killed and the cart smashed to pieces.
