Geraldine Farrar, the stately and emotional Goldwyn star, is seen m a good play, “Shadows,” at Everybody s. “PRIVATE SECRETARY.” i The Christmas attraction at the Opera ' House, commencing Boxing night, December 26, will bo a return visit, for two nights, of the “Charley’s Aunt” Comedy Company, when they will produce Charles Howtroy s hilarious comedy in three acts, “The Private Secretary.” The part of tho “Rev. Robert Spalding” will be played by Mr Norman Aitken, as played by bun with great success throughout New Zealand. 'The supporting cast is a strong one, and includes Mr ■ Paul Latham, W. W. Crawford, Kenneth Aitken, Alf. Spencer. Chas. Tbrosby Geo. Clapbam, Phipps Williams, Miss, Li ban Chapman, Pauline Shetlander, Doris Hulmc, and Miss Hardinge-Maltby. The production is under tho stage direction of Mr Chas. Throsby. As tho comedy is one long laugh, it should prove a very acceptable holiday attraction.
