FARMERS MAY HOLD THE BALANCE. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. SYDNEY, Dec. 16. Aa the counting progresses, it becomes more apparent that the Farmers’ representatives will be a very important factor in tho new Federal Parliament, holding tho balance of power. Their position has improved since yesterday, and they are now holding four seats, and leading m seven. Second preference votes in three electorates where Labour was loading will probably result in the return of three further Farmers’ ropreseptatives.
