BUTCHERS' PICNIC.
Arrangements are well in hand in eon neetion with the Palmerston North but cbm’ annual picnic, which is to be heh on the Aslihurst Domain on Wednesday January 29. Of the several attractions, ; speciality will be made of dancing on tin green to the music of the Palmerston Nortl Brass Hand. Both adults and children wil he well provided for in the matter ol races, and handsome prizes have beet donated tor the baby show. Hot water milk and cordials will be provided free A special train, stopping at Terrace End will leave Palmers!on at 9.b5 a.in., return ing from Aslihurst at 0,15 pun. The litre(including admission to the grounds) are: Adults 2- 6d, children Is 3d.
