AORANGI LAND DRAINAGE BOARD.
A mooting of the Aorangi Land Drain age Hoard was held on Thursday. Pro sent: Trustees M. A, Eliott, D. Collis, II (I. Moore and C. T. Feeble.
It was decided, before proceeding with repairs to fences on Hourko’s drain, to call tenders for the cutting up and stacking of willows, which have been the main cause of the trouble.
The engineer was empowered io arrangi with the Matiawaln Land Drainage Heart to clean out the joint outlet by day lab
A deputation front the Manuwatu Land Drainage Hoard, consisting of Messrs Lancaster and W rigid, waited on the Hoard re garding the erection of a flood-gate at tin joint outlet. It was arranged that members of the respective Hoards meet on tin ground on Monday to discuss the matter. Accounts amounting to £l9l 14s Id wen passed for payment.
