Advices from Paris quotes the Petit Parhieu a.s stating that the capture of Polygon Redoubt, to which the Germans attached much store, is one of the most glorious feats of anus to the credit of the Australians. An officer belonging to Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria’s staff, when taken prisoner, said: “If only yesterday those devils had yielded, however little, we should have recaptured Polygon, and perhaps all the positions lost ou the twentieth.”
