The fate of the Ministers is unknown. Several transports with sailors from Kronstadt have arrived to sunport the Maximalists. The Daily News states that M. Lenin, addressing the Petrograd Soviet on Wednesday afternoon, said the second revolution was accomplished. The Government is now in the hands of the people. The first problem was to end the war. Wo shall offer a peace acceptable to the proletariat in all countries, publish all secret treaties, take all land from the landlords, and establish control by workmen over industry. The consequence will bo the accomplishment of tire third social revolution. Perfect order prevails in Petrograd. The public seem indifferent to everything else, but the grand order is also due to the fact that the Military Committee posted proclamations that in the event of disorders snd excesses the offenders will be wiped off tho face of the earth.

Tho British troops routed the enemy on Alinnintar Hill and entered the town at daybreak. Others advanced from tho seaside, and northwards. Cavalry pursued the disorganised enemy. The Irish captured Harlia. formerly the centre of the Turkish Gaza-Beersheha line, with comparatively slight resistance. Gaza was due to fall after the grand success in the previous day’s battle on the right, where enormous booty was taken. The capture of Gaza, with its tremendously strong works, lias been accomplished hv first smashing the eastern line of defences threatening tho Gaza flank. Onr losses were comparatively slight.
